Voter Education Expert

Working under the supervision of the Support to Zambia's Electoral Cycle 2015-17 Programme Manager), the Voter Education Expert will implement the strategy, work plans and activities in support of voter education for the 2016 elections.  The Voter Education Expert will work closely with the ECZ, in particular the Deputy Director for Voter Education, to advise and assist with the voter education plans and activities of ECZ, including revising the voter education strategy, voter educator training, design, production, procurement and delivery of voter education materials, and monitoring and evaluation of voter education field work.

He or she will assist in the coordination of voter education activities undertaken by ECZ and other stakeholders and support the mainstreaming of gender and social inclusion in Voter Education and will take into consideration the Constitutional modifications to the Electoral Act of 5th January 2016. The Voter Education Expert will also perform her or his activities taking into consideration the specific nature of the 2016 Tripartite elections with the addition of the referendum on the new Constitution.
