SCBD seeks an insurance broker that possesses profound knowledge of the insurance market in Quebec, Canada for fire, public, diplomatic car and theft liability insurance to assist SCBD in the selection of optimal insurance packages meeting UN requirement in terms of insurance policy conditions and premiums. The liability is limited to the office activities only. Premium basis: approximately 10,000 square feet. The commercial liability coverage is extended to cover two storage area located on level S, Local S-1022. Equipment breakdown coverage: flood insurance, sewer backing up coverage; earthquake shock endorsement. Additional insurance is required for S.I.T.Q. and Societe du Palais des Congres de Montreal. Coverage for both applies only to liability arising from the use of the premises by SCBD. Develop a description of requirements for fire, public, car and theft liability insurance. The description will provide background information of the SCBD requirements so that interested insurance companies will develop their insurance policies and the premiums meeting SCBD requirements. Upon completion of the description endorsed by SCBD, the Secretariat will approach insurance companies in the market; obtain proposals from them; analyze the proposals with clarification and supporting arguments.
