1. The African Union – United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur is seeking an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Provision of Freight Forwarding and Related Services for the airlift of ten (10) Digital Photocopier Machines on the basis of FCA United Nations Operations Headquarters in Burundi (ONUB), Bujumbura (Burundi) to MONUC Logistics Base (UNMIS MovCon Warehouse), Entebbe (Uganda) International Airport. 2. To be considered, the EOI must include the following information: 1. Company’s full profile with all the details (address, telephone & fax numbers, email etc.) 2. Company’s registration number (if already registered with UN), license(s) 3. List of the company’s customers during the past 3 years (Proof of similar services); 4. Proof of financial strength for the last three years; UNGM registration no. (www.ungm.org) 3. Expression of Interest not addressing the above Points to the satisfaction of UNAMID shall not be considered for the solicitation to bid 4. Interested firms with their relevant experience are invited to submit their Expression of Interest by fax or email as indicated above, clearly marked “Expression of Interest – Provision of Freight Forwarding and Related Services for the airlift of Digital Photocopier Machines from ONUB, Burundi to MONUC LogBase (UNMIS MovCon Warehouse) to Entebbe (Uganda), UNAMID-SUP09-032/JNG, must be received by UNAMID no later than 22 February 2009. 5. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNAMID reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.
