DPI Sales and Marketing would like for qualified prospective vendors capable of proividing the services of Drupal software developer/s for a total of 1,550 development hours for new projects designed to increase the sections revenue as a United Nations income section. • Making the e-commerce site accessible • Adding the ability to sell United Nations branded merchandise online as part of the Section’s e-commerce Website • Adding the ability to automatically feed an online database of UN content, hosted by the OECD and maintained in partnership with that organization (the transfer of title lists and metadata to this database has been performed manually so far) • Adding the ability of managing physical item production (books, maps, electronic media, box sets, etc.) directly within the Section’s title management system (physical production is currently monitored manually on a separate spreadsheet), including the automatic feed sent to print-on-demand partners • Automatic creation of periodical catalogues of the Section’s various titles for dissemination to partners, distributors, agents and customers • Automatic creation of marketing reports and promotional information and disseminating it to relevant mailing lists • Automatic assigning of United Nations ISBN identifiers to new print, PDF file and electronic publication versions of United Nations titles. • Production of electronic sales reports from the e-commerce Website, including integration of sales data from various revenue streams • Adding a new title management system tab designed to automatically process sales based on standing orders to the Section’s various customers and United Nations Depository Libraries • Adding ability to generate rights and permission requests for the Section and its rights partners directly from the e-commerce website
