New clarification added: Dear UNOPS Procurement Team,As part of the preparation for participation in the international tender, we propose considering the possibility of amending the medical-technical requirements (MTR). This would allow a wider range of potential suppliers and partners from different countries to participate, increasing competition and potentially securing more favorable conditions for the client.Such adjustments would also create additional opportunities for developing new partnerships and long-term strategic relationships, enhancing transparency and openness in the procurement process. We are confident that this will contribute to a more effective and successful tender.Proposed changes:1. «Application: Designed for locating peripheral veins in adults, children, and neonates to facilitate safe venipuncture or IV access» – keep the wording «Application: Designed for locating peripheral veins in patients to facilitate safe venipuncture or IV access».2. «Imaging modes: Standard, inverse, and enhanced contrast modes (or equivalent)» – clarify as « Imaging modes: General, HD, Line (or equivalent), with optional inverse mode is available».3. «Working distance: Non-contact, optimal operating range 15–25 cm from skin surface» – clarify as «Working distance: Non-contact, optimal distance depending on model, typically 15–40 cm».4. «Safety classification: IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 compliant; Class I medical electrical device; eye-safe (IEC 60825-1 Class 1 Laser Product or equivalent)» – clarify as “Safety classification: Class I, eye-safe; compliance with IEC standards recommended but not mandatory”.5. «Accessories: Charger, power adapter, adjustable arm or table stand (if applicable), user manual, carrying case» – mark as optional accessory: carrying case.----------------------------------Dear Bidder,Thank you for your interest in this RFQ.We accept your clarifications and confirm that the bid can be submitted according to your statements.Thank you.Best regards,UNOPS Procurement Team
