Long Term Agreement for the provision of Maintenance & Repair Services for Yutong Buses and Isuzu Truck

The United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) intends to engage the services of a qualified contractor to establish a Long Term Agreement (LTA) for the provision of Maintenance and Repair Services for Yutong Buses and Isuzu Trucks on an “as and when required” basis. The contract's initial period will be 3 years with two possible extensions of 1-year each. UNTSO is looking to establish the LTA with a highly qualified and experienced workshop in Israel that has aftersales experience on Yutong buses but can also undertake maintenance and repair works on Isuzu medium trucks. The vendors workshop facilities must be tooled and equipped accordingly to undertake the maintenance and repairs accordingly. The Bidder’s facilities must be located within 50 KM from UNTSO Headquarter in Jerusalem. UNTSO’s requirements are: i. Provision of Yutong & Isuzu Original Equipment Spare Parts. ii. Provision of Yutong & Isuzu Original Lubricants. iii. Periodical Inspections. iv. Maintenance-Periodical/Preventive Maintenance. v. Annual Vehicle Testing and Certification. vi. Fault Diagnosis-To determine technical issues with vehicles. vii. Repairs-Carry out technical and Bodywork repairs. Specific Requirements/Information IMPORTANT: 1. Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify contractors that would be interested and eligible to participate in the bidding process when issued. 2. UNTSO reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement during the REOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be invited to participate in the bidding process. Only contractors which in UN's sole discretion are deemed eligible and qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their REOI submissions may receive the final tender solicitation documents. 3. Companies interested to be invited to participate in the solicitation process are invited to submit their Expression of Interest and to send a copy of the following documents to the email: sayyam@un.org: A. Brief relevant information about the company including the company's profile, capacity/capability and experience. B. Copy of a valid business/trading license. 4. Companies must verify and ensure that they are registered under their full legal name with the UN Secretariat on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). In addition, the desired Companies MUST have working experience in provision of similar goods and services. 5. Note that companies that have previously submitted EOI for similar services with UN must re-submit full documentation as detailed above. 6. UNTSO will examine the outcome of this request for EOI and will consider companies who have expressed their interest by providing the required information as to their ability to fulfill the requirement.
