Description
The Procurement Unit (PU) of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), on behalf of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Global Maritime Crime Programme (GMCP), invites qualified suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest (EoI) for the enhancing of maritime security and safety at sea. To achieve this goal, UNODC is providing technical assistance to maritime law enforcement and port security authorities throughout the region. This support is aimed at improving their ability to respond effectively to maritime incidents and to coordinate operations across multiple jurisdictions. The primary objective is to support maritime law enforcement agencies providing them with the required equipment to better operate their visit board search and seizure and maritime domain awareness operations. These tools are vital for strengthening maritime operations and enhancing security and for contributing to a safer maritime environment. Further details will be communicated to interested vendors via the tendering documents. Please note hat this is not an invitation for submission for a bid and/or proposal. This is a Request for Expression of Interest (EoI) to identify qualified vendors interested in participating in the solicitation. Interested vendors must provide the completed Vendor Response Form (attached below), including the UNGM Vendor Registration Number. UNOV will examine the EoI and reserves the right to select the invitees for competitive bidding. Accordingly, an Expression of Interest does not automatically warrant an interested vendor's participation in the compettitive bidding exercise. Furthermore, UNOV reserves the right to change or cancel any of this requirement at any time during EoI and/or solicitation process. Please note that this document is solely an Expression of Interest (EOI) and not a tender invitation. Therefore, specifications and tender documents are not attached here. Interested parties are encouraged to submit their interest via the UNGM platform only.
