Description
The UNGSC requires a Contractor for the supply of methane gas to the UNGSC Brindisi, Italy. DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: The United Nations Global Service Center (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified vendor to establish a Contract for the supply of methane gas in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements set by ARERA (Italian Authority for the Regulation of Energy Networks and the Environment). The estimated annual consumption is 4,500 standard cubic meters (smc). This is a non-binding estimate and shall not be considered a guaranteed consumption level. GENERAL NOTES: Specific Requirements: The solicitation documents will provide detailed information, including the Statement of Requirement and Technical Evaluation Criteria. UN Vendor Registration Requirement (i.e., vendor level of registration): The Bidder must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) at the Basic level in order to be invited to the procurement procedure at a later stage. Vendors not registered with UNGM will not be eligible to participate. Applicable Legal Requirements: The Company(ies) will supply the required gas in Brindisi (Italy); therefore, the Company must comply with Italian labor laws and regulations applicable to the specified trade. Non-EU companies participating in the tender for UNGSC requirements with supply to Brindisi (Italy) shall be duly registered and possess all the requisite documentation, certificates, and permits as required to do business in the European Union member countries. The Bidder shall be officially registered in the ARERA's official gas suppliers list. This registration conforms that the company is legally auithorized to operate as gas supplier in the Italian energy market. Vendors possessing the following attributes are strongly encouraged to submit an EOI: - Disability-Inclusive Organizations: Actively promoting inclusivity for persons with disabilities. - Commitment to Gender Equality: Demonstrated efforts to achieve gender parity. - Woman-Owned Businesses: Recognized status as a business owned by women. - Entities from developing countries, economies in transition, or least developed countries. Please note that submitting an Expression of Interest does not guarantee an invitation to participate. Specific Requirements/Information The UNGSC will provide the full technical specifications and administrative instructions, along with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing of this EOI. The Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) does not constitute a solicitation. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements during the REOI and solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued.
