INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING, TESTING, AND TRAINING (ICTT) OF MEDICAL O2 GAS PIPING SYSTEM (MOGPS) IN 7 MOH HOSPITAL SITES WITH PSA PLANT-IN-BOX

Should the central alarm cover only the PSA or also all oxygen sources (LOX, manifolds, etc.)? There will be no central alarm at PSA Plant, only at O2 source (service manifolds) with repeater at Zonal isolation valves. BTW, there is no LOX in the system. What type of alarm signals/communication does the PSA system provide (outputs, protocol, etc.)? We suggest Area and Local alarms—to monitor O2 gas pressure with communication often utilizing digital displays, audible signals, and visual indicators. However, bidders may suggest a more suitable type in proposal with details specification to review. Is integration with the hospital’s BMS required, or will it function standalone? The specifications mention the required functions (purity, pressure, source status, manifold reserve), but do not clearly define the integration, communication, or BMS connectivity. It will be stand alone, SL hospital has no BMS yet. Since there are major challenges, some hospitals are requesting MGpS for additional departments that were not included in the UNOPS scope. Moreover, certain drawings do not fully match those provided by UNOPS. We would like clarification on which set of requirements we should follow, as these factors will directly impact both the drawings and the pricing. There will be no additional department for MGPS, budget is limited. If there is a slight discrepancy between the drawings provided, kindly follow the BOQ. One of the requirements from bidder is the production of as-built plans after the hand-over exercise.
