The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), wishes to receive Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of green electricity and gas for the premises of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (hereinafter referred to as “IRMCT”) in The Hague (The Netherlands), located on 1 Churchillplein 21517 JW in The Hague, NL from 1 January 2026 for a period of one or more years. For Electricity (EAN 871689276000006947) Estimated 1-year consumption during Peak Hours in 2026 is 1,559,165 Kwh Estimated 1-year consumption during Off Peak Hours in 2026 is 1,115,864 Kwh Estimated 1-year consumption during Euro Wind Hours in 2026 is 2,522,694 Kwh For Green Gas for IRMCT Building (EAN 871689250000076902) Estimated 1-year volume (nm3) in 2026 is 272,033 nm3 For Green Gas for IRMCT Cafeteria (EAN 87168920000044647) Estimated 1-year volume (nm3) in 2026 is 314.03 nm3 More information will be provided in the solicitation documents of the tender (Invitation to Bid). UNOG reserves the right to award separate contracts for gas and electricity. Specific Requirements/Information 1) For this procurement activity, all interested utility providers (i.e., for gas/electricity) must be registered or able to register with the United Nations Global Market (www.ungm.org) at minimum Level 1. Vendor/s already registered with the UNGM must verify if their business information is up-to-date, and if not, must edit and/or provide additional/current information as necessary. Vendors must provide their UNGM number in their responses to this REOI. 2) Vendors interested in participating in a tender for these requirements must have been in business, i.e. already licensed to supply electricity by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets [Dutch Autoriteit Consument & Markt (ACM) ], for a minimum of 3 years and have the capacity to supply IRMCT's required volumes stated above. For this purpose, interested vendors must communicate their total annual volume supplied in each of the last three years or any other supporting documentation demonstrating their capacity to supply IRMCT's required volumes in their responses to this REOI. 3) Any contract award resulting from a potential tender will be governed by the United Nations General Conditions of Contract for the Provision of Services (UNGCCs) and draft contract. UNOG expects to follow this REOI with a competitive tender exercise, in order to establish a contract/purchase order that will be able to meet the operational requirements of UNOG. This request for EOI is not an invitation to bid. UNOG reserves the right to modify or cancel this requirement at any time. Only vendors considered as qualified by UNOG to supply such services will be invited to participate in the tender exercise.
