Description
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a specialized agency of the United Nations based in Rome, Italy, hereby solicits proposals for the Provision of Managed Services for IFAD Client Portal (ICP). The purpose of this Tender is to request proposals for: 1. Managed Service (Lot 1), 2. 24/7 remote technical support (Lot 2) from the prospective Vendors whose employees or consultants are experienced and have sufficient knowledge in the technology underlying IFAD Client Portal (ICP). An overview of ICP, its functionality, user-base, infrastructure and software architecture are provided in Section ‘About ICP’, whereas the requirements of the tender are detailed in Sections Lot 1 and Lot 2. A detailed description of the infrastructure and software architecture can be found in Appendix 1 and 2. According to interest, prospective Contractors can submit proposals for any of the combined lots or only for one of them. IFAD reserves the right to award the contracts as a result of the tender in any combination of the Lots it deemed appropriate and in its interest. The Managed Service and Remote Technical Support contracts will have an initial duration of two years extendable for a further one year up to a maximum of three annual renewals. The latest start date of the Managed Service and Remote Technical Support contracts is 5 December 2025, but the engagement will have to commence eight weeks before this date to allow a handover from the current Contractor.
