Due to the time isn’t enough we require additional time to prepare our bid effectively. We kindly ask for an extension of one week to ensure that we can submit a comprehensive and competitive proposal.Ans 1 - Extension had been granted. Q2 - We kindly request clarification regarding the technical specifications for LOT4, specifically Item No. 2.1 (2.1.5) and Item No. 2.4 (2.4.2). The current requirements specify uPVC pressure pipes with rubber ring joints and socket/spigot ends, including DN90 rubber rings. However, based on industry standards, rubber rings are typically available with a minimum DN of 110mm.Could you kindly confirm if the specifications can be revised to align with standard availability? Thank you for your attention to this matter. Can straight pipes with a length of 5.8M be accepted?Answer 1 - As the requested goods are intended for the maintenance of an existing system benefiting the recipients, it is essential to adhere to the specified dimensions and lengths of polyethylene pipes as outlined in the specifications, price quotation, and technical questionnaire Q2. The UPVC pipe requirement is 6 meters, but the common length for container shipping is 5.8 meters. Is a length of 5.8 meters acceptable?Answer 2 :As the requested goods are intended for the maintenance of an existing system benefiting the recipients, it is essential to  adhere to the standards, specified dimensions and lengths of  pipes as outlined in the specifications, price quotation, and technical questionnaire .Q3. The standards specified for UPVC in the bidding documents are German and British standards. Can equivalent international standards such as ISO 1452 be applied?Answer 3 : Please adhere to the clearly specified standards of  pipes in the specifications, price quotation, and technical questionnaire. Any equivalent standard is acceptable . Q4 There is no description of CLASS4 in the DIN 8062 standard for UPVC pipes The pressure requirement in the tender document is PN10, but the wall thickness of the last 200MM pipe is required to be no less than 9.6 But 200*9.6 is already the pressure of PN12 Also, 160*7.7 is PN12. May I ask whether our quotation is based on the wall thickness or the pressure PN10? Please confirm Ans 4 -  Please adhere to the clearly specified standards of  pipes in the specifications, bills of quantities, and technical questionnaire. If both a pressure rating (i.e. PN10) and a minimum wall thickness are specified, the offered pipes shall meet the stated wall thickness and pressure rating , regardless of the corresponding pressure class. Q5 - We kindly request your confirmation on the following technical specifications:  Item No. 1\2.1 – LOT 4: Supply of UPVC double socket bends for UPVC pipes (DIN 8063, PN 16, including rubber ring).Item No. 2\2.4 – LOT 4: Supply of UPVC double sleeve joint socket couplings (DIN 8063, PN 16, including rubber ring).  Technical Concern:As currently specified, these items cannot be matched, as PN 16 (16 bar) pressure-rated fittings are not compatible with rubber ring joints. Industry standards require such high-pressure fittings to use solvent cement (glue) joints instead.  Could you please confirm whether the specifications can be adjusted accordingly?  Additionally, due to this clarification requirement, we kindly request a two-week extension of the submission deadline to ensure compliance with the revised specifications.  Ans 5 - There is a typo mistake, an amendment will published soon .Q6 - Are subcontracts acceptable?Ans 6 - Yes they are acceptable as joint venture or a partner representative.Q7 In lot1 is it acceptable to supply the HDPE  of the size 110 mm, 90 mm and 75 mm with length 12 m? and In Lot 2 part 2 we noted that the quantity of DI flanged gate valve same of the quantity of the galvanized pipes are they correct quantity or there were typo mistake ?
