Call for Proposal: NGO to implement SCREAM Programme: Awareness-Raising and Child Protection for Jasmine Supply Chain Communities in Gharbia Governorate
Under the project "Accelerate the Elimination of Child Labour: Improving Working Conditions and Empowering Families in Jasmine Supply Chain in Egypt" (ACCEL Egypt - Harvesting the Future), this project aims to reduce child labour in jasmine picking through child protection measures and improving working conditions in the jasmine supply chain. The intervention seeks to eliminate the worst forms of child labour by empowering communities through education and economic development, targeting children at risk or involved in child labour in seven villages (Shubra Beloula, Nabas, Nagrig, Sorad, ElSerw, Kom at Naggar, and Ayari) in Gharbia Governorate.
The SCREAM programme will focus on raising awareness, providing education opportunities, and engaging at-risk children through artistic, educational, and social activities.
