Procurement of Services; Company/Firm or individual for Office Space Design, BOQ Preparation, TOR Documents, and Supervision Request for EOI N°: CO-Islamabad/EOI/002-2024
1. Introduction
International Labour organisation is seeking RFP from qualified and experienced firms or consultants to undertake the design, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, Terms of Reference (TOR) documentation, and supervision for the renovation and fit-out of office space located at Islamabad.
2. Project Overview
The project involves the comprehensive design and refurbishment of space of about 1400 SQFT within our office building at GROUND FLOOR level, to create a functional, aesthetically pleasing, and efficient working environment. The selected firm will be responsible for:
- Design Services: Developing detailed design concepts, including spatial planning, interior design, and selection of materials and finishes.
- BOQ Preparation: Creating a detailed Bill of Quantities to support cost estimation and procurement.
- TOR Documentation: Preparing Terms of Reference for procurement and contracting, outlining project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Supervision Services: Overseeing the implementation of the design, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budget, and timelines.
3. Scope of Work
- Design Services:
- Concept development and design proposal.
- Space planning and layout design.
- Interior design, including selection of furnishings, fixtures, and finishes.
- Coordination with other stakeholders such as contractors and suppliers.
- BOQ Preparation:
- Detailed measurement and description of materials and work required.
- Cost estimation based on design specifications.
- TOR Documentation:
- Development of comprehensive TOR documents for contracting.
- Specification of project deliverables, timelines, and performance criteria.
- Supervision Services:
- On-site supervision during the execution phase.
- Regular progress reporting and quality control.
- Coordination with contractors and resolution of issues.
4. Submission Requirements
Interested firms should submit the following documents:
- Company profile, including relevant experience and qualifications.
- Examples of previous projects similar in scope and scale.
- Detailed approach and methodology for each component of the project.
- Key personnel proposed for the project, including their qualifications and experience.
- Proposed timeline and fee structure.
5. Evaluation Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated based on:
- Relevant experience and expertise in office design and supervision.
- Quality and creativity of proposed design approach.
- Accuracy and comprehensiveness of BOQ preparation.
- Clarity and detail of TOR documentation.
- Cost-effectiveness and value for money.
