As DHA is a Pakistan Army-administered real estate developer providing housing and municipal services for Defence neighborhoods across the country, we respectfully request that these projects be considered under the category of Rule of Law projects with the Armed Forces. New clarification added: Dear Sir/Madam,Dear Bidder Following are the responses to your clarifications.2- Additionally, could you please provide the specifications for the containers that will be used for this project? Answer: Standard container size 20 feet3- When can we anticipate receiving an update on our request to extend the submission deadline by two weeks?Answer: The deadline for the submission of bids has been extended till 6th September 2024

New clarification added: Respected Sir,I am writing on behalf of ArcoDesk Pakistan to inquire about the possibility of submitting a bid for an upcoming UNOPS project as a Joint Venture (JV) between two firms .In Pakistan PCATP or PEC Registered firms can be design this types of Project.Could you please provide us with the relevant guidelines or conditions for bidding as a JV Firms ? Additionally, if there are any JV specific documents or procedures we need to follow to formalize this arrangement, we would appreciate your guidance.Dear Bidder Please refer to the section 0.3 Joint Venture Partner Information Retrurnable bidding form

New clarification added: Dear Sir/Madam,Following are the responses to you clarifications1- Based on our understanding, the containers are all vendor-designed, and their design is not included in the scope. Please confirm. Answer: The containers will be designed the design consultant in consultation with UNOPS and end user.2- Could you please briefly clarify the Architect's scope for this project? Answer: The architect will create the interior layout for the container based on the project's requirements, design the overall layout including roads, connections between containers, a training room, a paintball area, and a mine garden, and provide detailed working drawings for these areas. The structural engineer will design the foundations for the containers, training room, and any necessary structural elements for the paintball area and garden.3- We understand that the containers are not multi-story. Please confirm. Answer: The contaners are single stoery and each container will be designated as bank,apartment,store etc..4- Refer UNGM submission Portal; Tender Information, Evaluation Criteria, Stage 1: Eligibility & formal criteria: Pointer # 1: The bidder is eligible as defined in Section I: Instructions to Bidders, Article 4 [Bidder Eligibility]. & Pointer # 2: The quotation is complete, i.e., all documents and technical documentation requested in Section I: Instructions to Bidders, Article 11 [Content of Quotation Submissions] have been provided and are complete.Query: Section I: Instructions to Bidders is missing in the Tender documents. Following are the responses to your requested clarificationsThe subordinate facilities at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police site, specifically the Police Training School, are currently unavailable. Could you please provide these? Answer: Coordinates will be provided on late stage as we als don't have it but the site is on boundary between Hayatabad and khyber agencyFor the design mock-up referencing the apartment building, could you share further details, such as size, number of floors, and any other relevant specifications? Answer: the site is contrainer based, it is not apartment building (typo), The containers are standard container sizes so the soft area of each will be accordingly.We assume that the structures in the design mock-up are container-based, rather than concrete or other materials. Could you please confirm this? Answer: the structures in the design mock-site are container-based and not the concrete or other material.Kindly provide the dimensions, floor area, and covered area for all the facilities shown in the design mock-up. Answer: The containers are standard container sizes so the soft area of each will be accordingly.During the construction phase and Defects Liability Period (DLP), what level of input is anticipated from the consultant? Additionally, how should we approach pricing for different regions during the construction phase? Answer: The consultant should put lumpsump cost for one visit and it will be paid once unops request assistance of the consultantWe assume that all travel costs during the construction phase will be covered by the client. Please confirm. Answer: The site supervision will responsibility of UNOPS PakistanCould you provide the estimated construction cost or consultancy budget for this project? Answer: The cost can not be shared as it depends on the design and consultants should come up with most affordable economical and sustainable designLastly, due to multiple public holidays over the past two weeks, we kindly request a two-week extension so we may submit a comprehensive proposal. Answer: We will extend the deadline of the tender once the project manager approve it.
