Description
This tender is for the supply of Motorcycles for multiple destinations worldwide.
UNOPS wishes to establish non-exclusive Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with more than one vendor and to display the awarded units in electronic catalogues on UN Web Buy Plus (http://www.unwebbuyplus.org) allowing UNOPS clients to order without further tendering.
Quantities are undefined. UNOPS will not be committed to purchase any minimum quantity, and purchases will be made only if and when there is an actual requirement.

New clarification added: Question: We find there are some requirement like " Frame Scooters: Unisex – to be used by both men and woman (woman design)", does under bone type and inline frame are both accepted for this requirement.Answer: Underbone-type scooters are accepted, as long as the design is suitable for persons wearing a skirt. If by inline frame is meant a traditional scooter design with the engine and tank at the rear under the seat and a flat area for the feet, it's accepted. If by Inline scooter means a design as a kick scooter with a seat, it is not acceptedQuestion: We have some past experience which was signed in 2022 but shipment in early 2023, will it treated as 2022 experience or 2023 experience.Answer : As per the qualification criteria, the bidder must demonstrate continuous business of manufacturing/supplying during the last five years. As long as you can provide proof of sales for each year, the experience will be considered valid.Question We can meet after-sales availability in more than 15 African countries but currently not in Somalia for instance, which is one of the 14 listed countries. Therefore kindly confirm that we meet requirements as long as we have aftersales available in a minimum 15 African countries.Answer: After-sales service and full warranty must be available in a minimum of 15 countries, including the specific countries listed in the Africa region.

Or is that considered an alternative bid?Answer: Yes, you are allowed to offer multiple models and/or brands for each category. Question: Regarding Section II, Schedule of Requirements, point 26, could you kindly confirm that as long as we comply with aftersales availability in a minimum of 15 countries in Africa, it can be any countries and not necessarily all the countries listed in the document?Answer: It is mandatory to cover the listed countries in the Africa region while meeting the minimum requirement of 15 countries. Additionally, you must also cover 6 countries in the Asia and Middle East region, as well as 6 countries in the Latin America region. Question - Regarding the discounts offered for accelerated payment. We understand that this is not part of the financial evaluation? Kindly share how we can then express this in the submission?Answer : You can express discounts offered for accelerated payment by including a supporting letter outlining the details. Please attach this letter along with the financial submission form. Question: Can you please extend the bid closing deadline Answer: The bid closing deadline has been extended to 09 September 2024, 20:00 UTC.
