Framework Agreement for Innovation Training and Applied Innovation Learning
During 2024, ADB’s approach to innovation learning will shift to include more applied and project focused innovation learning. This new approach will be supported by a comprehensive capacity development program that blends theoretical knowledge-building and practical application within training programs, as well as coaching
for project staff, applied to an ADB project in its real context.
These project-focused innovation coaching and training programs will be customized as Applied Innovation Learning programs supporting ongoing projects. Consulting firms will actively collaborate with the L&D Team, ADB Innovation Hub, and ADB project teams to apply innovation tools and to test innovation ideas. They will
also capture knowledge through case studies that share innovative best practices within ADB.
The purpose of an FA is to establish a roster of firms with the qualifications, expertise, and experience necessary to support ADB in achieving the objectives outlined above. Having several firms on an FA roster allows ADB to quickly contract rostered firms when a need for the services arises. ADB envisages the issuance
of multiple FA Call-Offs over the duration of the FA.
An FA will be signed with each selected firm (the “FA Consultant”). During the life of the FA, upon the execution of a call off order (the “FA Call-Off”), the FA Consultant will provide the Services detailed in the FA Call-Off which will include, but shall not be limited to, the provision of applied learning and coaching programs to support to ADB staff and project teams.
