Description
In 2024, the United Nations (UN) Common Services in Kenya transitioned to the Common Back Office (CBO) to align its service provision for enhanced efficiency. As part of this transition, UNON was selected as the service provider for the provision of procurement services for common goods and services to more than fifteen UN agencies in Kenya. In light of the background provided above, the United Nations Offices at Nairobi (UNON) requests expressions of interest from potential vendors for an upcoming tender process regarding the provision of garage services for United Nation's official vehicles. The fleet consists of various models of Toyota,Volvo,Isuzu, Nissan including Nissan Leaf Electric, Mitsubishi, Mercedes, Honda,Suzuki,BMW, VW Passat and Landrover. Qualified firms should have an operational garage located within Nairobi and its environs, within 25km from UN Complex (Gigiri). The contract resulting from the intended tender process shall be subject to an implementation period of three years with a possibility to extend for two additional periods of 1 year each (3+1+1) subject to the contractors’ performance. The scope of the requirement will include but not limited to provision of below services: - Routine/scheduled vehicle servicing, - General repairs & maintenance, - Auto-electric services, - Air-conditioning services - Panel beating services, - Spray painting services, - Upholstery services, - Vehicle recovery & towing services - Supply/replace tyres. - Other related works The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to the potential bidders after this request for EOI is closed.
