Test a pilot assessment tool for benchmarking policy support for universal parenting.

The purpose of this assignment is to conduct a national assessment of progress in policy implementation toward universal parenting support in South Africa, using the draft national assessment framework (tool).

The assessment will take place under the supervision of the Child Protection Officer in coordination with a UNICEF South Africa steering committee, and with support and input from the Parenting for Lifelong Health consultancy team. The service provider will be guided in the assessment by UNICEF South Africa in relation to coordination with relevant key stakeholders, and by the PLH consultancy team providing support to familiarisation with the framework, methodological development and national contextualisation of the tool, technical support, and quality control of results.
