READVERTISED - PROVISION OF UNEP OFFICE RENOVATIONS WORKS IN ATHENS, GREECE

The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites qualified companies to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming tender exercise for Renovation of UN Environment - Mediterranean Action Plan (UNEP/MAP) office in Athens, Greece A detailed Terms of Reference shall be included in the solicitation documents that will be issued after this EOI is closed. Objetive: The overall objective of the project is to give the office a fresh look and conribute to a safer working environment for UNEP staff in Athens, Greece.  Summary of the Scope of Works: The office building constructed in the 1960's has five floors of approximately 1000 sq.m. The Office space is at the 2nd level. The building is a concrete frame structure currently divided into offices by brick walls, plasterboard, glass and wood covered partitions. The works consists of of the folowing: •Refurbishment of existing internal walls/ partition demolition, soft strip out and disposal •Construction on new walls and partitions including wall finishes. •Installation of doors including ironmongery. •Installation of new floor and ceiling finishes. •Construction and installation of custom-made carpentry fittings •Installation/adjustments of mechanical and electrical systems including internal firefighting, ICT equipment and security installations, piping and sewage connections. •Renovation of bathrooms and kitchen areas •Painting works
