Provision of Capacity Assessment for the General Authority for Rural Electricity (GARE) & the Projects Implementation Unit (PIU) in the Ministry of Electricity in Yemen - YEEAP II

New clarification added: Question 4: Will the assessment be in Sanaa and Aden only or will it be extended to other governorates?Answer: Please check the pre-bid meeting minutes, as it confirmed that the assesment will be in Sana'a and Aden.Question 5: Is there a fixed number of subject matter experts to involve ? Can we increase the number of experts under each category?Answer: Please refer to the pre-bid meeting mintues and the tender documents, the firm must cover the minimum requirements stipulated in the tender, firms can exceed the requirements as what they see as appropriate, however, there should not be any deviation from the minimum requirements.Question 6: Does the ministry have all the financial documents ready or we will use periodicals published by the ministry?Answer: The financial information certified by Central Organization for Control and Accounting or an external independent private external auidtors.Question 7: Will we need to implement focus groups/ workshops for the target audience or just interviews?Answer: Please review the schedule of requirements. How the methedology will be done is something the firm needs to propose in their technical proposal. 

New clarification added: Question 3: I would like to ask can ARADO as a non for profit organization participate having a representation office in yemen in the institute of public Administration? Answer: Any legal representation in the Yemen must be a legal entity/private sector not state owned entity.

New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Please find below the responses to your clarifications:Question 1: We are a regional Non-for profit organization affliated with the league of Arab States , so what would be the required documents for since we don't have a commercial register.Answer: The applicant must provide their legal documentation as per the requirement of their sector whether it is a company or an NGO.Question 2: I would like to inquire whether there can be an extension to the deadline.Answer: It is not possible to extend the deadline and we encourage bidders to be able to submit their offers on time.All the best,UNOPS Yemen.
