Long-term contract for the provision of Cleaning Services at the United Nations Information and Communication Technology Facility (UNICTF) in Valencia, Spain

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) requires the services of an appropriately qualified contractor for a long-term contract for the provision of Cleaning Services at the United Nations Information and Communication Technology Facility (UNICTF) in Valencia, Spain. The provision of cleaning services includes labour, supervision, equipment, materials and cleaning supplies necessary to maintain cleanliness of the UNICTF premises, which encompass, but are not limited to: - Internal Office Space and Data Center: Approximately 15,000 sqm. Interior areas that necessitate cleaning include open and private offices, meeting rooms, food service points, corridors, windows, elevators, entrances, dining areas, breakrooms, restrooms, staircases, janitor's closets, utility rooms, data center rooms, loading docks, and all parts of furniture, furnishings, and equipment. - External Space: Approximately 10,000 sqm. Exterior areas that necessitate cleaning include paved hardstands, which comprise ramps, steps, walkways, sidewalks, equipment pads (generator area), receiving areas, parking lots, outdoor dining areas, and synthetic lawn areas. The Contractor is permitted to subcontract minor activities such as transportation and supply, excluding the core business itself (i.e., cleaning, disinfection, and sanitation). Additionally, the Contractor may subcontract window washing and cleaning beneath technical floors/racks to specialized cleaners. Split awards will not be considered. The resulting contract will be established for an agreed initial period of three (3) years, with the UNGSC's sole option to extend the term of the agreement for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1) for a maximum five (5) year period, subject to the UN’s operational requirements and Contractor’s satisfactory performance.
