FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF LOCAL NON-FOOD ITEMS FOR UNHCR SO MAUNGDAW

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Maungdaw Sub- Office, invites qualified/potential suppliers to make a firm offer for the supply of local non-food items for UNHCR Operations in northern Rakhine State, Myanmar (referred to hereinafter as “goods”).
Description of the requirement are as described in Annex A. The bidders are allowed to submit the offer for all or partial participation (On all or parts of the goods from the list).

Technical specifications of the goods and services are detailed in Annex A of this document.

Delivery Location/Delivery at Place (DAP): UNHCR Warehouse at Ward-5, Buthidaung township, Rakhine State, Myanmar.
Delivery time (After receipt of order): Shorter delivery time is preferable. Please provide estimated delivery date with Quotation.

Samples – Suppliers are requested to submit samples of the goods which you propose. Please send your samples to UNHCR Maungdaw Office in 3 mile, Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State, Myanmar.

Please note that figures of the goods have been stated to enable qualified vendors to have an indication of the projected requirements. It does not represent a commitment that UNHCR will purchase the above quantity. Quantities may vary depend on the actual requirements and funds available regulated by issuance of individual Purchase Orders.

QUALITY CONTROL:
UNHCR may carry random quality inspections an independent surveyor appointed by UNHCR during the construction works.
In cases of supplier’s quality default, in addition to the good’s Purchase order penalty clauses, the inspection cost will be charged to the supplier.
Sub-Contracting: Please take careful note of article 4 of the attached UNHCR General Conditions of Contracts for the provision of Services-2018 (Annex E).
