The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to engage qualified Contractor to provide services and materials for Electrical and Civil Works to Fabricate and Replace Electrical Boards, as well as Upgrading Conventional Air conditioners to Utilize Inverter Series Technology at UNAMI Regional Offices in Erbil Note: • Scope of the Project includes electrical, civil, and mechanical works. The main electrical works includes fabricate and install four distribution panel boards, install four Automatic Transfer Switches, connect existing PV to the boards, install lightning and ground for system and supply and install addressable fire alarm system. Civil works includes supply and install sandwich roof, false ceiling, gypsum boards, make drainage and electrical trench and install antistatic raised floor. Mechanical works includes install CO2 automatic fire extinguishers for electrical panels and upgrading conventional air conditioners to utilize Inverter Series Technology. General: • The Contractor shall provide material, equipment, tools, apparatus, accessories, manpower, professional manpower, all other related requirements, and preliminaries to successfully finish the required works as outlined in this SOW and as further described in the specifications, drawings and bill of quantities. Provided quantities in BOQ and drawings are purely for guidance, as the final drawings, including accurate itemized BOQ, shall be provide by the Contractor as part of their response to this Request for Proposal. • During the project UNAMI will scrutinize the quality of material equipment and fixtures that will be used by the Contractor as part of this project. All supplied materials are to meet international standards. Material, executed works, fixtures and equipment that are found to be of inferior quality will be rejected by UNAMI. It is, therefore, the sole responsibility of the Contractor to procure the correct materials, equipment, and fixtures, and correctly execute the work for timely completion of this project. • The Contractor is responsible for all its staff, movement of materials and personnel in and out of the construction site, site safety measures, warning signs and tapes required to keep the working place safe. Further, the Contractor is responsible for the protection of all adjacent areas against damage. In case of damage, it is the Contractor’s responsibility to repair the damage to the exact condition it was before project commencement, if the damage was caused by the contractor • Electrical works: The contractor shall carry out the below electrical works. • Fabricate and install distribution panel boards. • Install Automatic Transfer Switches for each board. • Install existing PV system to the four electrical boards. • Install 9-way three phase circuit breaker. • Install lighting and sockets. • install Lightning protection system. • install addressable fire alarm system. • Civil works: • Remove existing galvanized and sandwich panel board roofs. • Installation of 10cm thick sandwich roofing. • Install gypsum board for the walls. • Opening the wall between two rooms • Install metal fire resistant door. • Make water drainage. • Make trench for electrical cables. • Install antistatic raised floor. • Mechanical Works: • Install wall type AC Split unit invertor series technology. • Install CO2 automatic fire extinguishers for electrical panels. Note: UNAMI may increase or decrease its requirements, where applicable. Payment for such increase or decrease of scope will be based on fixed unit prices in the BOQ and will be through a written contract amendment.
