Rehabilitation works for Hisbeh Market in Tyre, South Lebanon

United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter refered to as UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Lebanon Programme is inviting interested vendors to submit an Expression of Interest for the anticipated solicitation exercise to establsih a Contract for Rehabilitation of Hisbeh Market in Tyre, South Lebanon. The main scope of works include but not limited to: (1) Asphalt the unpaved areas, grind, and overlay the existing asphalted roads (2) Excavate two storm water channels covering both sides of the road to improve the rainwater drainage system. (3) Improve the working conditions in the market, enhancing the infrastructure and easing access to the Market, by. i) Modernize, enhance, and advance the workplace settings, environment and space for the labor, people and populations in the vegetables wholesale market. ii) Rehabilitating the infrastructure and upgrading the setup to facilitate access for the community, residents, and customers in Tyre. Subsequent to the closing date of this EOI, the UN anticipates to issue a formal solicitation document to potential companies who have expressed interest to provide the services in accordance with the requirements that will be fully specified in the solicitation document.
