United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter referred to as UNON) on behalf of the UN Habitat, Myanmar anticipates to establish a contract with a qualified contractor towards the Supply of household’s packages in 7 townships of Yangon, Myanmar. The scope of works consists of provision of support to the most vulnerable communities in Yangon to practice COVID-19 prevention measures by utilizing basic PPEs and mitigating a risk of community transmission of Omicron variant and/or other variant in the future. The qualified supplier/s shall prepare and deliver the package to the target households in informal settlements of Yangon in cooperation with UN-Habitat. The List of the Households Items for one package includes: Mercury Thermometer Hand Soap 500 ml Face Shield 3 ply- Surgical Masks Hand Sanitizer (Alcohol 70%) Gloves (single use, disposable, short fitting) [packed by pair] N95 masks Paracetamol 500mg Loratadine 10 mg Oral Rehydration Salts Strepsils lozenges Vitamin C 500 mg Vendors MUST be registered in the United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM). Kindly refer to EOI Instruction on registering as a vendor with UNGM. IMPORTANT: Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested and eligible to participate in the solicitation/ invitation for bids when issued. The complete details of the requirement including the specifications, scope of work, bid form, will be issued to the bidders after this request for EOI is closed. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this Request for EOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation when issued. Vendors that are deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their EOI submission will receive the final tender solicitation documents. Vendors MUST be registered in the United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM).
