New clarification added: Q. Kindly provide all information related to sites for all five locations i.e. site layout drawing, site location,coordinates and google image, plot area.UNOPS Response: Kindly check the ToR for the coordinates of the location. Other information eg site layout drawing is part of the scope of works of the consulting services. Not available now. Q. What is the relation required between the existing facility and the new units, and is there a kind of linkage required UNOPS Response: New location will be decided by Hospital management in the hospital premises.Q Kindly provide All information related to the existing health facilities that needs assessment and investigation i.e. building area, site area, number of floors, type of health facility ..etc.UNOPS Response: Kindly check the ToR under target locations. Other information as requested above should be collected during the assessment. Bidders are encouraged to coordinate hospital or visit the site ( optional though) for preparation of realistic proposal during the bidding process. Q. In “Phase 2- Design Brief phase” section page 4, the TOR states that: “including determining the scope of the rehabilitation works for the seven health facilities.” Kindly clarify what is the number of facilities that require assessment, are the 5 or 7?UNOPS Response: Thank you. Scope of work includes only Five (5) health facilities for the construction of Isolation units. NOT seven HF. Q . Is a complete rehabilitation package will be required for the existing facilities including all architecture and engineering drawings or just an assessment report and recommendations.UNOPS Response: No detailed architectural drawing and design of the existing facilities are required. It is only the assessment study of the existing facilities which is related and important for the detailed design and operation of Covid Isolation units. Q. Demolition and material removal plans what are part of phase three deliverables are mentioned in the RFP are they related to the new isolation units. Kindly confirm. UNOPS Response: Yes, in case the proposed site has such existing structures which need to be demolished and cleared before or during the new construction. Q. In Section 12 “Design Program” page 4 the TOR states that: “The design consultant is requested to prepare sub-plans per facility subject that the main time frame is maintained.” Kindly clarify what do you meanUNOPS Response: The design period of the main plan of the study will be four months. After the contract, the consultant has to prepare a separate plan for each of the five IUs for different stages for the detailed study. These sub plan should be within the period of the main proposed plan to complete each task.

Due to the complexity of the project and the requirement for having a local partner we would like to request an extension of the deadline for a week.UNOPS Reply: As the project is running under Emergency Procurement Procedures and the service is required urgently, UNOPS regrets not being able to provide any time extension for the bid closure. New amendment added #1: This Amendment # 1 is issued for the following reasons; 1- Upload Minutes of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting that took place on the 16th of Feb. 2022. 2- To Amend the Key Personnel requirement in the Criteria Tab3- To Amend the Percentage of required female personnel as part of contract implantation from 5% to be 10% reflected in the Criteria Tab. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
