1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for: a) the provision of one (1) right-hand drive (RHD) minibus, with the following minimum specifications (but not limited to): •15-18 seats (including the driver's seat); •Diesel powered minimum EURO 6 engine; •Engine Cubic Capacity (CC) 2.0 to 3.0 ltr and minimum 155 hp; •Compliant for use in Cyprus; •New and Unused (minibus manufactured no more than 6 months from the date of the purchase order); •White in colour, and; b) the provision of five (5) right-hand drive (RHD) medium buses, with the following minimum specifications, (but not limited to): •23-29 seats (including the driver's seat); •Diesel powered minimum EURO 6 engine; •Engine Cubic Capacity (CC) 3.0 - 5.0 ltr and minimum 180 hp; •Compliant for use in Cyprus; •New and Unused (minibus manufactured no more than 6 months from the date of the purchase order); •White in colour 2. The vehicles shall be delivered on the basis of Delivered at Place (DAP) - UNFICYP HQ, Nicosia, Cyprus (Incoterms 2010). UNFICYP reserves the right, at its sole descretion, to award one or multiple purchase orders for the requested types of vehicles. Bidders shall have the option to submit a Bid for all or one type of the requested vehicles. Partial deliveries are not acceptable by UNFICYP. 3. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by submitting the Vendor Response Form of this EOI electronically (through the link provided below) before the closing date above. 4. The Vendor Response Form is also available in our website www.unficyp.org. 5. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. Please note that Vendors have to be registered at Level 1 at the time of the award. 6. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI. Interested vendors are strongly recommended to submit the required documentation at the United Nations Global Marketplace at www.ungm.org for Level 01 registration.
