1.0 The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit proposals for the provision of facilities maintenance/repair and ground maintenance services and Materials/Spare Parts Supply and installation or supply only within UNAMI premises in Baghdad, Iraq. 2.0 The solicitation will be based on detailed Statement of Works (SoW), Bill of Quantities (BoQ), Technical Specifications, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for the tender. 3.0 The project consists of: Summary of Proposed Work: Under the proposed contract, the prospective Contractor with minimum of 5 years of experience of similar works is required to provide maintenance and repair services for the below listed in UNAMI premises in Baghdad, Iraq: • Prefabricated Buildings (Modular, Ablutions, Kitchens, Containerized) • Conventional Hard Wall Buildings • Bunkers and Safe Havens • Soft wall/Warehouse Buildings • Horizontal Facilities (Roads, Parking, Helipads, Aprons, Runways, Taxi Ways, Storm Water Drainage Systems) • Linear Facilities (Fences, Drop Arm Barriers, Gates, Walls, T-Walls, Berms, Ditches, etc.) • HVAC Maintenance Service. • Electricidal Installation • Plumbing Installation • Minor Civil Works • Ground Maintenance • Diesel Hybrid PV Solar system • Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) • Repairs and Maintenance of Elevators • Fire Hydrant System. • Addressable Fire Alarm System • Security Control Installations Locations: The two UNAMI locations in Baghdad for the works under the prospective contract are IZ (UNAMI HQ-D1/D2, Tamimi, UNITAD-Villa and TPT Workshop) and UNAMI FSB-BIAP at the Baghdad Airport in Iraq. UNAMI reserves the right to split the award by location as such proposals can be submitted for either both locations or either. For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise, and accordingly will initiate a bidding process with detailed Technical Specifications, Bill of Quantities, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI's requirement. The services shall be executed by a qualified and experienced company, based on Scope of Requirements (SOR), Bill of Quantities, Technical Specifications, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided later by UNAMI to qualified companies who express their interest and respond to this EOI accordingly. Specific Requirements/Information Mandatory Pre-Qualification Criteria: The following Core Requirements must be met and Proposers unable to comply with all Core Requirements might be automatically eliminated:  Company Commercial Registration as a Construction company (including for its sub- Contractors, if any).  Capability to independently organize security access clearances and/or Escort Privileges for personnel, equipment and supplies to UNAMI compound inside former Green Zone (GZ) and/or Baghdad International Airport Base.  Under the proposed contract, the prospective Contractor with minimum of 5 years of experience of similar works is required to provide maintenance and repair services for the below listed in UNAMI premises in Baghdad, Iraq 4.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI's requirement. 5.0 In addition, the interested companies are requested to complete their registration at Level-2 on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). 6.0 Please note the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid/proposal. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
