The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites qualified Contractors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to particiate in the upcoming re-tender exercise for Provision of Value Cash Card Services. For details concerning UNEP, please refer to its website at www.unep.org UNON on behalf of UN Environement (UNEP) is seeking to establish a Contract for an initial duration of three (3) years with option to extend for two additional periods of one year each (3+1+1) for provision of value cash cards for the following services: 1) to pay Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA) and terminal expenses as per the UN travel policy. for non-UN system staff attending meetings sponsored by UNEP (mandatory); 2) to use cash cards for petty cash payments (Optional); 3) to use cash cards to pay for certain low value procurement requirement, such as software purchases and subscriptions (Optional), These cards will be used without the requirement to maintain a bank account with the successful Vendor. The cards will be used as debit cards to make onsite and online payments and allow cash withdrawal at ATM machines worldwide. The participants of the UN meetings are of different nationalities from destinations around the world. The successful vendor will be required to set-up an electronic system which the UN Environment will use to order pre-paid cash cards. The vendor must have the ability to issue multi loadable and usable cards valid for at least two years worldwide in US Dollars. Cash loaded to the cards shall be invoiced and paid by UN Environment through electronic funds transfer (no interest applicable). The successful vendor will provide the online management system, manage delivery and support (online and by phone). Administrative manual or manuals containing operating and service instructions for the online management system shall be made available free of charge and adequate training, if needed, shall be provided by the successful vendor. A detailed Terms of Reference shall be included in the consecutive solicitation document in due course of time after this EOI is closed. UNON intends to conduct a re-bid exercise of the subject requirement. Therefore all Vendors who expressed interest in the previous EOIUNON17544 are requested to resubmit their expression of interest to this REOI.
