Description

United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit electronic proposals as follows:

I – Develop an adaptation and update UNESCO’s manual “Freedom of Expression and Public Order”, and add a specific chapter on the role of security forces and journalists during elections (200 pages, 320 words per page, with annexes);

II – Prepare high-quality graphic design and an attractive layout for the resulting Toolkit for Security Forces on Freedom of Expression and the Safety of Journalists, for full colour A4 documents in English (including a short 150-200 words summary);

III – Develop an Issue brief focused on the role of security forces when interacting with and protecting journalists during protests, riots and public demonstrations, as well as in election contexts (15 pages, 320 words per page);

IV - Develop an Issue brief on the role of law enforcement and security forces in strengthening the investigations of crimes committed against journalists (15 pages, 320 words per page);

V - Prepare high-quality graphic design and an attractive layout for the two Issue briefs respectively, for full colour A4 documents in English.
