Description
UNOPS is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced company referred herein as ‘Consultant’, to provide all technical and administrative support, human resources, materials and equipment necessary for the provision of Communication and Public Outreach Strategic Plan and to develop audio and Visual promotion material on OSH standards to be used for the purposes of presentation, trainings and education means hereinafter referred to as ‘Services’.
The list of the required services is detailed in the Section II - Schedule of Requirements uploaded in the "document" section of this RFP.

UNOPS Clarification Reponse 08:UNOPS confirms that yes, for the requirements of Section II: Schedule of Requirements; Annex 1; For the Activities under point 17.1 and 17.2 - the bidder is requested to include the 'media buying' in the financial proposal.

Guide project teams on goals and approaches for their national communications;UNOPS Clarification Response 07:2.0 - The selected company will be responsible to manage and coordinate the aspect of outreach and engagement of multiple partners of the project and to provide integrated feedback, as well as, liaise with the project stakeholders and project partners on communication's activities as specified by this RFP;4.0 - The selected company will be responsible to lead the communications and outreach component of the project, and guide the team regarding the propsed approaches (of the selected company) on the proposed national communications strategy, in line with the objectives of the project and with the requirements of this RFP.

New clarification added: Clarification Request 06:What is the foreseen budget for the contract?Must all the experts be proposed by and be employed by the company prior to potentially winning the bid? Is there any foreseen days for the team to be engaged during the contract period? Is it expected to submit a marketing or communication strategy during the application process? or is this done at a later stage after UNOPS has selected the company. UNOPS Clarification Response 06:UNOPS advises that the information related to the planned budget can not be shared with the bidders since it is considered to be confidential information;UNOPS advises that in the submission the offerors should include the proposed team organogram in terms of defined roles (not necessarily provide the names of the persons that will have the roles). This should be aligned with the proposed methodology. In addition, we clarify that the company is not obliged to employ the experts prior to contract award;UNOPS advises that the foreseen days for the team to be engaged should be proposed by the offeror based on the scope of services which should be aligned with the scope of the project as per the Implementation Schedule included in the RFP dossier;UNOPS clarifies that the marketing or communication strategy is the product/ deliverable to be developed after the contract has been awarded to the selected company.

Will our company be responsible for the writing/design of the publications? 6. 9.8 Will the events be organized online or venue based? If the events will be venue based for how many people should we provide translation equipment/services? 7. 9.9 Can you please clarify this point? Does 200 mean the number of transmissions? UNOPS clarifies that this is a Lump Sum unit, therefore, yes the price should include for all foreseen activities to be delivered by the awarded company which should be aligned with the proposed methodology as per this RFP;2. 9.3 - UNOPS advises that the placement of billboards shall be defined in the Communication Strategy. Preferably the project should outreach all municipalities;3. 9.4 - The paper quality and the printing format/material of the flyer to be defined depending on the publication. The flyers will be distributed during events, site visits, conferences, workshops, online distribution in social media platforms and similar activities that will take place during the entire project implementation period;4. 9.5 - The paper quality and the printing format/material of the posters to be defined. The posters will be distributed to promote activities that will be organized by the project (as foreseen by the communication strategy) including, but not limited to events, site visits, conferences, workshops and online publication in social media platforms and similar activities that will take place during the entire project implementation period;5. 9.6 - Please refer to the UNOPS Clarification Response 04 above;6. 9.8 - Events to be organized online and venue based. Translation to be provided based on the number of people invited and attending the events. Majority of events should be foreseen and included in the Communications Strategy and will be modified depending on the needs and requirements of the project and potential COVID-19 measures in place;7. 9.9 - UNOPS confirms that this number refers to 200 transmissions during the 3 years in the project;

Will the publications be printed, and if yes, in (approximately) how many pages each?3. Is it expected from the Contractor to prepare and write the content for the publications, or only design, print and distribution management in various channels?4. UNOPS advises that the number of the pages each publication will have and if they will be printed shall depend on the type of publication and the approach (with the strategy to be developed) that the awarded company takes;3. Shape multimedia products...": Please specify what was intended when requesting this specific activity "shape project multimedia products"?
