Consultancy Support for Proposals Reviews in the Area of Long-Acting Technologies
Unitaid is seeking expert support in assessing proposals received under the Call for Proposals entitled “Accelerating the development of existing medicines into long-acting products, for treatment and prevention of diseases including HIV and its coinfections/comorbidities, TB and malaria”. >The consultant shall operate in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Public Health with expertise in product development and commercialization in global health, and particularly in products for use in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
> It is anticipated that a technical assessment of each proposal would take up to 4 days (inclusive of interactions with Unitaid Secretariat). Experts may be selected to review multiple proposals (between 3 – 5 proposals).
>The work is expected to take place between the 01 May 2019 and 30 November 2019.
Essential experience and educational requirements:
- *Advanced level university degree in pharmaceutical sciences and/or public health or the equivalent, with at least 5 years’ work experience in drug formulation, and/or long-acting technologies, and/or drug delivery systems.
- *Expertise in product development and commercialization in global health, and particularly in products for use LMICs.
