New clarification added: Question 1: Need colored Schematic diagram to rectify the cables ( Fiber,CAT6,CAT5…).Answer 1: In the drawing clearly labeled. Please refer. Question 2: According to the drawing - KSFH-A1-NBRM-DA-01 ; there are 6 Racks. But in BOQ only 4 (1 (42U) & 3 (17U)).Answer 2:Please follow the BOQ Question 3: Switch uplink (Rack to Rack) by Fiber or CAT 6.Answer 3:Fiber Cable Question 4: What is the purpose of 3m UTP Patch cord (2P11/E12). Or how many 3m Patch cords required.Answer 4:Patch cords to be used for connecting switch ports and patch panels Question 5: 2P11/E12 mentioned Patch panel with 24 Keystones, that means 1 patch panel with 24 ports. New clarification added: Question:Please give us One week Time Extension to Bid Submission in order to submit Competitive Bid. Answer:UNOPS had already extended the bid submission deadline in 3 Amendments. Due to urgent project needs, we need to finalize this ITB as per the extended deadline which is on 24th March 2019, 09:30 UTC (3:00 PM Sri Lanka time).

New clarification added: Question:In BOQ item 2P11/D1 is mentioned as Copper Air Terminal as lightning arresrers. But in drawing no KSFH-A1-LPS-01 shows as Early Streamer Emision Type. To which type we should bid?Answer: Follow the BOQ description.

Answer: Please refer to drawing KSFH-A1-RM-EL-07C Question: Please let us know under which schedule we need to attach our technical details, Ex: Catalogues of proposed productsAnswer: Bidders are NOT required to submit documents such as Catalogues of proposed products along with the bid. After award the contract (during the contract management stage), selected contractor shall submit product Catalogues/Broachers etc. for the prior approval of employer’s representative.

New clarification added: Question: MDF is not included in the BOQ. But shown in the drawing, Is it necessary to quote?, If so please mention the capacity.Answer: Need to quote 3' x 3' MDF with krone modules. Need 2 blocks, one for PABX side and other to line side.Question: As per the BOQ there is only 50 pair Intermediate distribution frame. But as per the schematic diagram there are 6Nos of 20 pair JB and 6Nos of 10 pair JBs. Do we need to quote for these items also?Answer: Need 50 pair Intermediate distribution frame, 02 Nos of 20 pair JB and 1 Nos of 10 pair JBs for New Building. Question: In the BOQ there is only 1 No of 48 port Ethernet switch, But in the Schematic diagram there are 05 Nos of 24 port Switches. please clarify?Answer: Need 05 no's of 24 port Switches. 02 no's for New Building and 3 no's for Existing Building.

New clarification added: Question: 150 mm x 150 mm Cable Ladder & 250 mm x 150 mm Cable Tray are not available in standard sizes, can we quote 150 mm x 75 mm Cable Ladder & 300 mm x 75 mm Cable Tray instead of those.Answer: If the specified sizes are not available in the market, the sizes proposed by bidder should be the nearest size available in the market and should serve the intended purpose.

New clarification added: Question: What is the way of taking outside calls (PSTN) ? And how many trunks? (Example: SIP – 10 trunks/channels, CO Direct Lines – 10, E1 Link – 2) Answer: Up-Link Card - 8 line (Direct Line - 8 Nos.), shall Support for E1 link and SIP Connectivity for 10 IP Phones for future expansion. Question: How many IP Extensions to be configured? As mentioned in the document it is needed 10 IP Phones. Is there any specification for IP phones?Answer: 6 IP Extension with 6 Nos. of IP Phone. SIP compatible phone Question: It is have mentioned 100 Analog Extensions to be configured, but the number of phones are not measured in the BOQ?Answer: PABX capacity to 128 channel. Supply 25 Nos Analog Phones.

Therefore Please provide floor diagrams indicating speaker locations, for both existing and new building with schematic diagram.
