New amendment added #1: This Amendment is created for the following reasons; - Time extension of the bidding process: Closure date for this Tender will be 28th of Feb. 2018 at 12:00 PM Amman - Jordan Local time. - It is the supplier’s responsibility to clear the goods from the customs and to obtain all the necessary approvals from the government regulatory organs, that may include storage of the goods in a safe warehouse until the reception of the approvals.- UNOPS is responsible for the issuance of the customs exemption letters and handing them over to the supplier to continue the clearance and delivery to final destination.- The quantities of the laboratories subject to increase during the life time of the project, however the orders will be placed on phases, subject to confirmed stage planning of the Ministry of Education (MOE). The minimum order quantity of labs will be agreed with the recommended bidder.- The final plans and layouts are not in possession of UNOPS up to date, therefore it is not possible to give the accurate forecast. Also UNOPS added revised returnable section III in Excel sheet with exception to Chemistry lab .

New clarification added: Q. 1 For Chemistry Lot,Item 4.1 Hot plate with magnetic stirrer, can we deliver hotplate with tempreture 380C Item 4.3 pH and temperature meter , must be rechargable? iitem 10.7 bunsen Burner, is it a must to deliver a bunsen burner with "Flame failure device, auto shut off after (20) sec." we can simply delviery te normal standard typeUNOPS Reply: Item 4.1: The temperature required in the technical specification is 50-450 ° C, which has been developed for the need of the scientific experiments included in the specific heat treatment curriculum.Item 4.3 : Yes, the device shall be subject to recharging.Item 10.7: flame failure device &The closure condition shall be set after 20 seconds in order to achieve a condition for the safety of the students.

New clarification added: Q. We want to apply only for Lot number 2 Chemistry School Lab Equipment.Please confirme if possible. UNOPS Reply: This bid particulars does not allow for partial bidding. Therefore, you need to submit full bid with all lots.
