New clarification added: Q12: In the section "Financial offer details" what is meant by "total financial offer"? Is it the maximum amount of 50'000 USD covered under the BPA? if not, can you clarify?A12: While ultimately the itemized cost per word indicated in Form B: Price Schedule will prevail in the evaluation and selection of a supplier, we ask for the Total Financial Offer for comparison purposes. Since the overall Total Financial Offer will be taken into account in the evaluation please give an average cost per word, averaging the 8 different items expressed in Form B: Price Schedule Form.

New clarification added: Q11: In form D there is a request to add a fax number and addresses of each contact person's details. Since some of numbers and adresses of recommending contact persons are not applicable (since no fax use between us or adress is only for accounting issues), would it be possible to write "N/A" near the fax number or adress? All other details are applicable (such as tl. numbers and email addresses).A11: Please fill out as much accurate information as possible in Form D; if some points are not current or relevant it is fine to write "N/A."

New clarification added: Q6: Are you flexible with the 24-hour turnaround times for small projects? We can possibly meet the 24-hour deadlines for popular languages of major/developed countries (i.e. French, Spanish, Russian). However translations for less popular languages would take more time to complete.A6: As stated in the Schedule of Requirements, for documents up to 4 pages we request a 24-hour turnaround time, and as stated above most requests are for UN and major languages. For each request the contract holder will be contacted to provide a quote based on the document to be translated and the desired delivery date and will indicate their ability to meet the deadline.

New clarification added: Q1: Could you please provide us with the name(s) of the incumbent service provider?A1: The current service provider is not relevant since UNOPS uses both small contract for services as well as leveraging on existing LTAs for similar services. Moreover, this is a new competitive tender, thus all interested qualified suppliers are invited to submit a bid.Q2: Could you please provide details of the languages most requested for the last contract period?A2: Most used languages for translation are French, Spanish, Russian. However several other languages were requested for different projects, thus the RFQ requirements are for multi-translation services. The service provider should therefore demonstrate capability to provide translation services in all of the requested languages.
