The United Nations Office for Human Resources Management (OHRM) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Project Management learning opportunities. The goal of these opportunities is to improve the Project Management skills of staff through learning programmes that target behaviour change, and that enable participants to apply Project Management tools and approaches to their jobs. The programmes should involve the following topics: A) Project Management Basics – project management learning activities using the results based management (RBM) framework, with a focus on project design. B) Project Management using one or more project management methodologies: Prince2, PMI, Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, XP, and Waterfall, among others. The target audience for these learning opportunities is staff responsible for and contributing to projects in UN offices around the world. Qualified vendors should: 1. Have the ability and availability to offer learning opportunities (courses, resources, templates, apps, etc.) in both English and French, and in all the following time zones: Americas, Africa, Europe and Middle East, Asia Pacific. 2. Utilize different modalities including face-to-face sessions, online learning, or a combination of both, as requested. 3. Have demonstrable expertise in conducting learning opportunities of similar scope to this RFP with or for companies or organizations with a multicultural staffing composition. They should also have the capability and know-how to manage the logistics of learning sessions. Because of the highly specialized and extensive breadth of this project, only those firms having a proven record of 5 years of experience in delivering the required disciplines are encouraged to participate. 4. Meet UN accessibility standards in the design and structuring of the learning programmes. http://www.un.org/en/webaccessibility/ 5. Ensure that all learning activities reflect a gender-sensitive approach, and utilize gender-neutral language in all areas that is free from stereotypes and unconscious bias. The learning activities should be delivered in their existing form, but bidders should have the institutional capacity to further develop the programme as needed over time, as well as to further adapt existing training materials and customize for specific UN Offices/Departments. It is key that these learning opportunities enable participants to apply their newly acquired skills, and that the content be both theoretical and practical. The vendor will work primarily under the guidance of the OHRM Learning Manager and directly with the Staff Development Officer in charge of coordinating the activities related to the programmes.
