IMPORTANT: Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify eligible vendors that would be interested to participate in the related upcoming solicitation. The complete detail of the requirement will be provided in the tender document that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who, in UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions, may receive the final tender solicitation documents. UNON PSS is a print service provider and as such uses various equipment for large format printing and B2 sized offset printing. For Large format PSS utilizes Hewlett Packard Latex Ink Based large format printers while for offset printing PSS utilizes a Kodak Magnus 400 Computer-to -Plate device that uses Processless/ chemical free plates for the imaging of offset plates. UNON PSS is seeking to establish a contract with a qualified vendor who will be responsible for electro-mechanical, preventative and corrective maintenanc of the equipment, identificatin, supply, replacement and installation of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts where required or prescribed for PSS to maintain full functionality and good working order of the equipment at the UNON PSS over the course of a 5-year contract period. To ensure there are no delays in the delivery of the service, and in order to reduce/eliminate any down-time by offering timely on-site repairs, routine visits and support, the vendor must be physically based in Nairobi or its environs so that services are available 24 hours, seven days a week.
