Insurance coverage for ICC
It is anticipated that the International Criminal Court (ICC) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, will shortly be issuing a solicitation on the provision of Insurance for ICC in 2010. In this connection, the ICC is requesting expression of interest from qualified firms.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) is seeking for insurance coverage for its vehicles, inventory, business interruption and glass of the main building. In addition, worldwide third party liability insurance is requested. The ICC has two court rooms, administrative offices, logistical and legal offices housed in three locations in The Hague. When required the ICC expands into other buildings and also conducts conferences.
In addition, the ICC has Field Offices located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Chad and the Central African Republic as well as a small liaison office in New York, USA to assist in its work.
The ICC facilities in The Hague are provided by the Government of the Netherlands with the exception of the courtrooms that were built by the Court. The premises for the Field Offices are leased from private landlords.
The detailed Scope of Work will be provided with a Request for Proposal (RFP), which seeks for this consultancy/audit service. The RFP is scheduled to be sent out in August 2009
