Description
The United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG), Switzerland, located at the Palais des Nations, is the largest United Nations Office in Europe, providing conference support and facilitating the multi-lateral international diplomacy of the worldwide community. It is located within the 46 hectare Ariana Park. The United Nations General Assembly approved the establishment of the Strategic Heritage Plan (SHP) which includes the construction of a New Permanent Office Building (NPB) of approximately 22,371 m2, together with the complete renovation of the main Palais des Nations complex of buildings. Part of the approved communication strategy is the creation and development of a bespoke website to inform a range of stakeholders including: Staff, Member States, and residents of Geneva, about the features, benefits and challenges the project will go through over its 8 year time line. Brief Description of Requirements: The United Nations Office at Geneva is looking for qualified companies who can create, deliver and maintain a new website. The site will need to engage, inform and provide credibility to the SHP, enabling all visitors to easily find what they are looking for or be taken on a journey of discovery. The day to day management of the site will be performed by the SHP team but overall maintenance and upkeep of the CMS including: uptime, security etc. will be the responsibility of the winning bid for this tender.
