New clarification added: 1. I'm write to request the clarification of mobile asphalt concrete plant 40~50Tons Per Hour that the meaning of finished storage silo including of elevator and steel wire rope in the requirements specification document. I'd like to know it does mean the hot elevator for hot aggregate from dryer? Ans: It means hot elevator for hot aggregate from dryer is to produce 40~50 Tons per hour from this plant.

New clarification added: 1. In the Mobile ashphalt plant , it is mentioned that is shoudl be batch type. Plesae note the 40-50 Ton capcity is not avaible in Batch Type . Can we offer drum type. if not , please increse the capcpity of the plant from 40 T to minimum 80 T /hr. Ans: The request is batch type and the range provided is minimum. You can bid for what you have and indicate its details.2. Since the volume of the project is very big, we request you to please extend the bid submission deadline at least by 3 weeks. Ans: We cannot extend it by three weeks.3. Since you required Road construction equiment on DAP basis. Request please send us the excat loaction of delivery with qunaity of the equipment. Ans: We have already provided the exact location it the delivery schedule form. Please refer to Delivery requirements __Comparative Data Table in section III.

The ITB is requesting various information from us, i.e. ISO certifications, company profile, financial information, detailed technical specifications, etc.Regrettably we are unable to find a place to upload all that information – kindly add a place for all that material. Ans: Upload each document under related heading as per section III.

New clarification added: 1. What is Lot5 in the Price Schedule FormDelivery Place-5No(1) Base Store, Kyaikalot, Yangon(Yangon Division)*Qty-6 Ans: It is Mini Excavator 6 Units. Please check again the document section in eSourcing. We have revsied it.

New clarification added: 1. Could you send technical bid form for mini excavator- 6 units?We didn’t find it in the ITB_Section_III_Returnable Bidding Forms (1). Ans: Please check again the document section in eSourcing. We have revsied it. 2. Do Manufacturer’s Authorization letters need to print out with letter head? Ans: With letter head or signed by manufacturer's representative and stamped. 3. Duties & Taxes : All bids shall be submitted net of any direct taxes mean… without taxes? Ans: Yes. We will provide Tax Exemption Certificate.

New clarification added: 1. “Type: Bath Type Mixer. “ Presumably it’s a typo mistake? should be “Batch Type” ? Please clarify. Ans: Batch Type is correct.2. “Feeder Hopper Capacity 4 x 4 m³” . Again, Typo mistake ? Is it 4x4x4 m (= 64m³), or 16 m³? Please clarify. Ans: Feeder Hopper Quantity is 4 Nos. Feeder Hopper Capacity is 4m³. 3. “Cold Aggregate” – please clarify what is required in this line item ? Ans: It is the subtitle for Cold Aggregate. It is not necessary to mention anything. 4. “Supplier” – please clarify supplier of what is meant in this line ? Ans: It is the supplier's name of the Cold Aggregate.5. “Mail Oil Pump” . Typo mistake ? Should be “Main Oil Pump” ? Please clarify. Ans: Main Oil Pump is correct.6. Power Unit – 250 KVA. According to our calculations, for our 40 TPH plant a smaller capacity generator will be sufficient. Will you insist on the more complicated/expensive 250 KVA, or we can offer smaller capacity, sufficient to operate our plant? Ans: Must be not less than 250 KVA.7. “Delivery Period within 16 weeks after signing contract.“ In our opinion, 16 weeks delivery is absolutely unrealistic for the following reasons: 4-5 weeks will be typical shipping time + container customs clearance. Many of the plant components are outsourced: Generator, Bitumen pumps, Electric motors etc. No one stocks 29 of those items. Typical lead time of outsourced items is 8-12 weeks. Production of 29 units typically takes at least 8-12 weeks. Therefore, based on our experienec, you should allow at least 28-30 weeks for delivery. Please advise. Ans: The time is enough.8. Will you allow partial payments against partial deliveries, or all 29 units must be delivered together? Ans: No partial delivery is allowed.9. "Fly ash" requirement. Please clarify what are it's parametres and how much fly ash are planned to use per metric tonne, in order to accomodate this requirement in the plant design ? Ans: Any parameter is acceptable. However, mention the parameters you are offering.10. To have a good performing ashphalt beton, it requires the addition of small size aggregate. It is typically stored in a separate silo and added directly into mixer. Please confirm if you require the separate silo for the small fraction aggregate. If not, how will you achieve the needed asphalt peformance ? Ans: Please offer the silo that match with your machine.

New clarification added: 1. Do you have a brand preferance? Ans: No, we don’t have.2. Heavy duty construction equipment are normally manufactured upon confirming an order and this normally takes around 3 months, what is the supply timeline? Ans: We have already mentioned about the supply and delivery period (including manufacturing) for each lot in section III.3. This procurement requires huge amounts of capital, will you be willing to provide the supplier atleast 50% advance to enable quick procurement?Whats the budget of each lot? Ans: No advance payment. Please refer to tender particulars in eSourcing for details.4. What’s the budget of each lot? Ans: It is not relevant to share such information.
