Description
The Global Service Center (GSC) intends to issue a tender for a Turn-Key Project for the execution of works for the Winterization of the Left Wing Dining Area in GSC/UNSB-V in Valencia, Spain. The Base has a dining area with a covered patio that requires the installation of sliding windows in the left wing side, based on GSC/UNSB-V concept design. The Contractor shall construct the required winterization enclosure, and install the pavement, electrical system, sliding windows, the false ceiling, air conditioning ducts & equipment, inclusive all other related civil construction works. Furthermore, the Contractor shall carry out an appropriate Risk Assessment before the commencement of works, shall prepare Hazard/Safety documentation, and execute works in accordance with the best engineering practices, and the Spanish laws and regulations. The Project will have to be completed in 2 phases and the activity breakdown of each phase is described below: Phase 1: Design - Executive Project Submittal of the Executive project and request the permissions for the construction works documents in the Municipality, comprising: - Inspection of the project areas; - Preparation of certified executive projects, in compliance with the related laws and regulations, including review meetings between GSC/UNSB-V Representatives and Contractor: a. Operative Safety Plan with all required documentation as per Spanish laws, in reference to all equipment that will be provided and used by the Contractor b. Executive Gantt Chart in reference to the GSC/UNSB-V Works Supervisor request, according to the real work status; c. Demolition of the current concrete slab to smooth floor levelling between Cafeteria and Left wing area, resulting in no steps; d. System design: i. Electrical connection plus main Electrical Panel; ii. Electrical and lighting project; iii. HVAC and Heat Recovery projects; iv. Smoke detection alarm system: Sensors to be integrated to existing system located in the cafeteria area. e. Floor tiles and false ceiling type. f. External partition and window distribution and type. - Submittal to GSC/UNSB-V Representative of the execution/construction projects for revision and approval; - Submittal of the Execution Project and all necessary documentation required by the Municipality including required taxes payment. Phase 2: Construction and Commissioning Various activities to build the winterization enclosure, comprising: - Inspection of the project areas; - Provision of Safety and Evacuation Plan; - Preparation of site (including signalization, security fencing, etc.); - Demolition of the current concrete slab for smooth merge of floor levels and a part of the wall to communicate both spaces; - Installation of false celling, brick and plasterboard walls, sliding windows and doors and floor tiling; - Provision of Plastering and painting works as required; - Installation of power panel and the connection of power from the existing main panel located in the cafeteria, installation of air conditioning, heat recovery, electrical sockets, switches and smoke detectors. - Testing and certification; - Preparation and deliver of the “As built” drawings as per GSC/UNSB-V Works Supervisor instructions at the end of the construction stage. - Handover to GSC/UNSB-V. The project will be realized in accordance to the Dining Area existing and attached to the construction area. The site visit is important to understand materials and technical solutions.
