The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) wishes to improve the level of service of the multi-functional meeting rooms in the United Nations Conference Center (UNCC) by having a standard sound system and related equipment permanently installed in each room of meeting rooms A, B, G, Theatre and Public Foyer including additional AV racks for CR-1, CR-2 and event outside conference rooms. This standard sound system is designed to be ready to service general meeting requirements by providing wire/wireless microphones including pre-wiring and setup for PowerPoint and video presentation. The additional cables and wall/floor outlets are required for interfacing to extra equipment such as Tele/Video conference, laptop, camera, etc. The permanently installed standard sound systems will be composed of both equipment that UNESCAP already owns and new equipment that needs to be purchased. Some items from the new acquisition will be assembled in the removable sound racks for servicing events outside the meeting rooms. UNESCAP wish to select, via a structured, open and competitive process, the most qualified vendor. The vendor shall be an authorized dealer, capable to provide and install the equipment.
