Refurbishment of UNAMI Offices and DFAC buildings at UNAMI facilities in Baghdad (Green Zone), Iraq

1.0 United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit bids for the Refurbishment of UNAMI Offices and DFAC buildings at UNAMI facilities in Baghdad (Green Zone), Iraq,` in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, scope of work, general conditions, and other related documents. 1.1 The contract will be awarded to the bidder that clearly demonstrates through a written bid and references a high degree of experience, ability, competency and best-practice in these services and capability to secure access and execute projects inside Green Zone, Baghdad, Iraq. 1.2 The awarded contractor shall provide materials, labor and equipment in the required works to successfully complete the required project/s as outlined in the scope of works and as further illustrated in the drawings. Supplying materials shall include all required manpower, transportation and necessary incidentals to ensure proper unloading of requested materials at any UNAMI facility located in the Green Zone, Baghdad, Iraq. 2.0 The solicitation will be based on a detailed Statement of Works (SOW), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Design Drawings, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for this tender. 3.0 The requirements will include, but not limited to, the following: All necessary tools, equipment, materials, personnel, supervision and other items necessary to perform the works. 4.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercises, accordingly would issue Requests for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies will be requested to complete a UNGM Registration for Level 1 and 2. 5.0 Please note on the following: 5.1 This REOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. 5.2 UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities. 5.3 Mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender documents. 5.4 UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline. 5.5 EOIs RECEIVED FROM COMPANIES WHICH ARE NOT FULLY REGISTERED IN UNGM FOR RELATED LEVEL SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND SUCH COMPANIES SHALL NOT BE INVITED TO THE UPCOMING UNAMI TENDERS, THEREFORE, INTERESTED VENDORS SHOULD INCLUDE A PROOF (UNGM SCREENSHOT) OF THEIR COMPLETED REGISTRATION. NOTE : SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS / INFORMATION (IF ANY) 6.0 The interested companies should meet the below mandatory requirements (6.1 – 6.5) Companies who fail to confirm compliance with the Mandatory requirements may not be considered for the upcoming tender. 6.1 Capability to bring materials, tools, manpower and related resources, and able to operate inside Baghdad International Zon; 6.2 Minimum 12 months warrantee for the work and materials provided; 6.3 At least five (5) years experience in the field of referbishment. 6.4 UNGM vendor registration has been completed and approved. 6.5 Duly completed UNAMI, United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD), and United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) vendor's registration formalities. 6.6 Duly completed and signed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and the Vendor Response Form.
