Terms of Reference (summary):

 
The International Trade Centre (ITC) takes part in a number of conferences and other meetings, which require the provision of display material. One object consists of a 5 metre by 2 metre Giraffe made of recycled materials.  It is therefore seeking bids from established companies, which would be called upon to store and transport the object. The ITC is also seeking bids for the storage of other display materials. The contract will be issued for a period of four years, renewable annually.

 
With a view to pre-select potential suppliers for these services, this Call for expression of interest is being posted for companies with experience in the provision of storage and handling services for International Organizations or enterprises.

 
The RFP and the terms of reference will be sent to those suppliers that have been selected by ITC to participate in the call for tender.

 
Submissions for expression of interest shall include the following elements, which represent the criteria for the pre‑selection of suppliers:

 

·          Organization, structure, and short history of the company.

·          Financial reports for the last 2 years (2007-2008), audited by an independent Audit company.

·          List and scope of recent most important similar contracts, including those for the United Nations and International Organizations of the UN System.

·          Acceptance, in writing, of the UN Supplier Code of Conduct posted on ITC Procurement Website.

 

Only those companies showing at least 5 years of experience in the provision of storage and handling services to International Organizations or enterprises with a strong commitment to respect the UN Supplier Code of Conduct, should express their interest.
