International consultant on Quality Testing and Assessment of LED Lighting Products

UNDP Viet Nam seeks 01 International Consultant to support Rang Dong Vacuum Flash and Lamps Joint-Stock Company (Ralaco) on Quality Testing and Assessment of LED Lighting Products (IQTA-Ralaco).

The objective of this consultancy assignment is to provide technical services (technical assistance, guidance and advice) based on local and international standards to Ralaco on the:

- Development of Company-level methods and standards for testing and assessing of the input materials, components, etc., for production of (i) alley LED lighting lamps of 30-35W; (ii)  high-bay LED lighting lamps of 80-160W;

- Quality testing and assessing of final LED lighting products manufactured by Ralaco, including i) Optical, electrical and safety specifications; (ii) Lumen maintenance and lifetime, (iii) Other electronic specifications; and (iv) Ingress protection (IP) level. 

- Capacity development of Ralaco technicians in testing and assessing of the input materials, components, etc., of these specific LED lamps.

The assignment is expected to be 30 working days starting in September 2016. Selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
