Description
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), Bangkok, Thailand, is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to convert the unused space on ground floor of the UN Secretariat Building, ESCAP, Bangkok, into a business centre. Scope of Works: (1) Protection Works:  Isolate and make safe all power receptacles.  Remove all static and dynamic furniture and equipment obstructing the work area  Protect all equipment, ceilings and floor which may sustain damage during construction.  Construct temporary insulated and dustproof partitions where required to isolate construction site where noise or dirt or dust may occurred. Equip partitions with dustproof and soundproof doors and security locks where required.  Remove all protection after completion of work. (2) Demolition Works:  Demolition of front wall for new glass door set  Demolition of partial of black wall as per detail drawing for new window (3) New Construction and Fitout Works:  Install new main entrance tempered glass door to the size of existing opening.  Install new fixed panel windows to back wall.  Install new 500x500 mm. carpet tile flooring  Install new 100 h. aluminium skirting.  Repair all areas of wall showing signs of damage  Build-up gypsum wall with 25mm. glass-wool insulation.  Supply and install new full height white board.  Supply and installation of new furniture as per the drawing.  Supply and install new acoustic ceiling tiles.  Modification of existing M&E system as indicated on drawing.  Supply and installation of new a/c units.  Installation of LAN junction boxes.  Installation of LAN outlets for WIFI router (Router by ESCAP) .  Interior wall remediation, smooth, treat and paint all walls.  Install and adjust mechanical and electrical systems as indicated in the drawings.  Paint all ancillary metal surfaces.  Install new venetian blind for all windows.  Apply paint covering to all prepared gypsum walls and columns.  Ensure all areas are cleaned and reinstated back to existing condition.
