1.0 The United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) has a requirement for the Service, Maintenance and Repair for UNAMI Aircraft refueling vehicles located at the Baghdad International Airport, UNAMI FSB. IRAQ. 2.0 The folloowing services are required • Service, maintain and repair UNAMI Aircraft Refueling trucks located at FSB BIAP. • Provide Maintenance “A”, “B”, “C” Maintenance . • Provide spare parts for the necessary service, repair and maintenance as required. • Provide on-site service and repairs for UNAMI Aircraft refueling vehicles upon request. • Inspect, service, repair and certify Aviation fuel tank and other related components and attachments as per International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standard and recommendations 2.1. General Requirements :• Contractor shall be responsible for the safety and security of vehicle including all UNAMI equipment attached with such vehicle delivered for service/maintenance and repairs. • Contractor must possess and enforce the use of all safety equipments used at a professional workshop • Contractor should provide all staff with approved safety equipments. Mobilization and Demobilization, Temporary Facilities, Security Access, Workers' Badges, etc. 2.0 Method: -Successful Vendor shall provide above services with certified technicians with experience working on Aviation refueling vehicles. 3.0 TIME FRAME: -UNAMI intends to award Contract for an initial period of one year with the option to extend for additional three (3) years, one year at a time subject to satisfactory performance of the contractor, continuation of mission mandates and availability of funds. 4.0 The service shall be executed by the qualified and experienced companies who meet the requirement based on the Scope of work (SOW), Tender Documents, Specifications, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents that will be provided by UNAMI to qualified companies who express their interests and respond to this EOI by submitting a duly filled, signed and sealed "Vendor Response Form." 5.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly, would issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who express their interest and meet initial screening criteria as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies should complete a UNGM Registration at Level 1 or above to be considered further. 6.0 Important Requirement: The successful bidder shall understand, accept and confirm that they: - haveF the capability to provide requested goods and on-site services within the time frame . -Time frame – Completion of maintenance within 24 hours of receipt of vehicle. - (the companies) have obtained necessary licensing and registration formalities with the Government of Iraq to operate inBaghda International Airport (BIAP) region that is required to sucessfully perform UNAMI's task - shall provide a list of Spare parts to be available for UNAMI's work - must provide the Quality Control, and Safety Plan - provide a list of similar works completed in the last five years emphasizing dealing with UN Agencies - meet all other provisions of safety aspects includiing equipment as well as first aid in the each equipment - submit a list of all necessary Spare Parts , equipment required to perform the work of UNAMI - Availbbility of workshop located within BIAP, or Baghdad Iraq. 7.0 Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for the Tender document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline without citing any reason.
