Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) intends to establish a one year contract - renewable for one additional year - for the provision of Symantec Training Courses for UN Staff, on “as and when requested basis”. The required Symantec trainings are intended for system and network administrators directly involved in the area of expertise of the courses and working in the Communications and Information Technology Section of the United Nations Peacekeeping Missions worldwide. Courses are as follows: Onsite Training: • Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1: Administration • Symantec Netbackup 7.6 for Windows: Administration Courses will be delivered at UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy and/or Valencia, Spain, as well as at RSCE, Entebbe, Uganda subject to actual UN operational requirements. An average of two (2) onsite courses falling under any of the mentioned product areas might be required per year on an “as and when requested basis” to be delivered in any of the mentioned locations. Each onsite training will host from a minimum of 5 up to a maximum of 14 participants. The courses shall be inclusive of standard training material for each participant as well as hands-on labs (either remote laboratories or physical equipment/software in case of unavailability of the same onsite). The potential vendor must be a Symantec Authorized Training Provider.
