PROVISION OF CAR WASH SERVICES FOR UNAMI FLEET IN ERBIL

1.0 UNAMI seeks to engage the services of a qualified vendor with capacity to provide comprehensive car wash and interior dry cleaning to all UNAMI fleet in Erbil ( 86 cars of the following types : 4x4 Armored Vehicles, Forklifts, ,truck, bus, van, pickups, ambulance and sedans, minimum 20 vehicles will be washed in a week. ) The size of the fleet changes from time to time. The Contractor shall provide all supervisory, management and other personnel with requisite experience, education, ability and resources to plan and organize cleaning services operations for UNAMI facilities as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). 2.0 Method: -The vendor will provide UNAMI fleet in Erbil with exterior and interior car washing and cleaning including service on as required basis. -The vendor shall provide suitable washing materials such as : towels & leather,sponge,car wash detergent, vehicle deodorants, cleaning brush (hard & soft), car polish & wax, wheel spray & rim cleaner, glass cleaner, interior & dashboard polish. 3.0 Details of internal cleaning: - Cleaning of dust from inside, Cleaning of plastic parts with wet cloths, Polishing the plastic parts, Washing of floor mats, Using Vehicle deodorant,Cleaning of seats and removal of any stain present . 4.0 Details of external cleaning: - Washing of external body,Washing of dirt/oil beneath the vehicle,Washing of tyres and rims,Use of wheel spray and rim cleaner,Drying of vehicle,Removal of water stain from all glasses. 5.0 TIME FRAME: -The contract will cover the period of one year from the day the contract is signed by both parties. The contract may be extended to additional two years, one year at a time subject to satisfactory performance at the discretion of UNAM. 6.0 The service should be executed by qualified and experienced company, based on Scope of work (SOW), Specifications, Plans, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided later on by UNAMI to qualified companies who express their interest and respond to this EOI. 7.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Invitation To Bid (ITB) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies should complete a UNGM Registration at level 1 or above. 8.0 Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for RFP document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
